Getting Motivated…
When you are feeling a bit low or, worse, depressed, it can be very difficult to motivate yourself.
Let’s see some techniques to overcome inertia and apathy:
- Do something positive; take some action, no matter how small, just by acting you will elevate your mood to finally feel the pleasure of achievement and the end of feeling hopeless.
- Make a plan, you might find it helpful to plan your day, make a list of the things you have to do and the ones you would like to do.
- Make your plan realistic but also as enjoyable as possible.
- Reward yourself for every task you complete.
- Don’t fill your plan with only hard work!
- Spend time with people who like you and care about you.
- Do things that you enjoy or that make you feel good.
- Do things you are good at.
- Always do what you believe is right.
- Be true to yourself and your values.
- Respect other people and treat them right.
I totally agree with you! AND talk to your friends!!!! It is the most rewarding activity! Congratulations for the subject you are dealing with!
